Today, I drove for about an hour to a somewhat familiar place, but I still relied on my phone for navigation. I programmed the destination and then began my travel with my truck and horse trailer. As I was driving, I happened to miss the navigational system's prompt to make a turn. I didn't give it much thought, assuming I would correct my course in the next mile. The navigational system continuously prompted me to make a U-turn and go back to my original location.

If I had been in the car, I would have found a way to turn around and get back on track. With the truck and horse trailer, finding a safe place to turn around at was difficult. I wish I had listened to my navigation system.

While I considered this, I couldn't help but reflect on the path God has planned for our lives. Each of us is an individual, has a path and God is our navigational systems. While reflecting, I couldn't help but ponder my relationship with God and how occasionally I veer off course and deviate from His plans. God and his word serve as my navigation system, guiding me through life's journey.

If only I had been driving a car, I could have corrected my course much faster. Unfortunately, I was in a truck hauling a horse trailer and there are no U-turns.

It made me think about how my choices affect other people. When I stray from God's intended path, it not only affects me, but also impacts those around me. The wrong turn I made with a horse trailer had an impact on both me and what I was transporting.  The impact of our choices extends beyond ourselves to others. The good news is that our God is so great and loves us so much that he welcomes us back and want to help us get on the right path. God and his word are my navigational system. It doesn't leave me at a dead end but along the path that he designed for me and my life.

May your path be made clear, and may you follow it with a full heart today.
