As I see this tree, standing straight and strong, stripped of it bark it reminds me of how I feel sometimes.

Despite my strength, I feel the world draining my energy.

The green on the leaves, which used to soak up the sunshine, has long since fallen.

The roots are dry and crave moisture.

Despite all, I stand strong like this tree. I stand with nobility, anticipating what's to come.

If you're feeling like you're in a dry season and need restoration, turn to the Lord who will provide for all your needs.

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31
