New Year Goal-Setting Worksheet Instructions: Take some time to reflect on each scripture together with the prompts provided. 

Write your thoughts, prayers, and goals for the New Year. Allow each scripture to guide you as you set your intentions.  

1. Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)  “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” 

- Reflection: What goals do I want to commit to God this year?  

- Prayer: Spend a moment in prayer, asking God for guidance on these goals.  2. 

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)  “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” 

- Reflection: How do I see God’s good plans reflected in my goals? 

- Affirmation: List how your goals align with the hope and future God has for you.  

3. Psalm 37:4 (NIV)  “Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” 

- Reflection: What brings me joy in my relationship with God? 

- Desires: How can I incorporate my joy in the Lord into my goals this year? 

4. Colossians 3:23-24 (NIV)  “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters…” 

- Reflection: How can I bring integrity and dedication into my pursuits this year? 

- Commitment: In what specific area will I focus on serving God through my goals? 

5. Philippians 4:13 (NIV)  “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” 

- Reflection: What challenges do I anticipate in pursuing my goals? 

- Strength: How will I rely on Christ for strength in these areas?  


Final Thoughts Commitment Statement: 

I commit to seeking God’s will in my life and aligning my goals with His purpose as I enter this New Year.


 Prayer: Spend a moment in prayer, thanking God for His guidance and strength for the year ahead. May this year be filled with divine purpose, growth, and abundant blessings as you walk in His ways!
